Video conference with entrepreneurs and investors of Republic of Korea in manufacturing textile
On June 29th, 2020 by the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Korea and with the collaboration of representatives of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, UNIDO, Private Sector Development Union, Technological University of Tajikistan, LLC ‘‘Kota Global’’ and other entrepreneurs and investors in textile industry of Tajikistan and Korea for the purpose of strengthening trade and economic cooperation between private sectors of two countries was held a video conference.
In the event, the First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management Sharaf Sheralizoda presented a presentation for Korean entrepreneurs and investors on investment opportunities in the Republic of Tajikistan, particularly the textile industry.
During the video conference the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Korea Sharifzoda Yusuf, First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management Sheralizoda Sharaf, Deputy Minister of Industry and New Technologies Rustami Sodiqjon provided relevant information on investment, transportation, tax and customs benefits and concessions for the textile industry to Korean entrepreneurs and investors.
At the same time, Mr. Kim Jong Bok, Director of Kota Global LLC, informed the participants about his successful experience in the Republic of Tajikistan and invited his country's investors and entrepreneurs to use the opportunities provided by the Republic of Tajikistan on entrepreneurs support encouragement and operate in the Republic of Tajikistan.
As a result of the event, the head of the Korean Textile Association Ms. Ogeyum noted Ogeyum noted that soon after the stability of the epidemiological situation related to the COVID-19 coronavirus epidemic in the world, he is ready to send a delegation of business and investment circles of the Korean textile industry to Tajikistan in late July to study the potential of the industry.
