On December 26, 2020, in the main hall of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, a regular meeting of the Council for the coordination of the activities of inspection bodies was held, chaired by the First Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Council for the coordination of the activities of inspection bodies Davlatali Said.
The meeting was attended by:
Deputy Chairman of the Council - Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management;
Council members - ministers of justice, finance, economic development and trade, health and social protection, industry and new technologies, internal affairs, agriculture, chairman of the State Committee on land management and geodesy;
Heads of 26 inspection bodies, the Customs Service, the National Bank, the Statistical Agency, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Prosecutor's Office, the Accounts Chamber, the Agency for State Financial Supervision and Anti-Corruption, the Tax Committee, development partners, the private sector.
Within the framework of this event, the issues of the application of legislation in the field of inspections of business entities and a moratorium on inspections of business entities in the Manufacturing Sector were considered.
It was noted that as part of the reform in the field of inspections of business entities in the law, the number of inspection bodies will be reduced from 31 to 26, and the number of inspections carried out by inspection bodies in 2019 will be 50% less than in 2018. In turn, over 9 months of 2020, the inspection bodies carried out 27,208 inspections, which is more than 11 thousand inspections less than in the same period last year.
During the meeting, by the decision of the Council for the coordination of the activities of inspection bodies, a list of criteria for assessing the level of risk of an economic entity, a list of control questions of inspection bodies and inspection plans for 2021 submitted by inspection bodies were agreed and approved.
Also, in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On inspections of activity of economic entities", reports of the heads of the inspection bodies on the activities carried out during the reporting period were heard, and the relevant decisions of the Council for the coordination of the activities of inspection bodies were adopted.
It should be noted that the number of economic entities in the manufacturing sector changes every day, manufacturing enterprises increase, liquidate or change their organizational and legal form, which necessitates amending the Register of Business Entities in the Manufacturing Sector. Therefore, at the meeting of the Council, at the suggestion of the Agency on Statistics, appropriate decisions were made to comply with the moratorium on inspections of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs submitting statistical reports on production.
