Meeting of the Chairman of the Committee on Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan with the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Tajikistan

    On March 5, 2024, Chairman of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan Rahimzoda Sulton with the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Tajikistan, including Gagan Malhotra, Alternate Director at the Hilton Hotel, Sergey Kim – Chief Executive officer of Finca, Zulkifl Bhatti, General Manager of Hyatt Regency Dushanbe, Burak Ates, General Manager of Coca-Cola Tajikistan, and Nilufar Bulbulshoeva, Executive Director of this chamber, held a meeting in Tajikistan.

    During the meeting, the current situation and prospects for expanding cooperation between the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management and the American Chamber of Commerce in Tajikistan were discussed. It was reported that the American Chamber of Commerce in Tajikistan cooperates with public and private sector entities, and its main goal is to improve the business environment in Tajikistan by promoting business practices, member interests, networking, attracting foreign investment and cooperation with all interested parties and more than 50 prestigious companies of the country, such as RSM, Sommon Air, FINCA, SIOMA, FIFTYFIVE GROUP, TAJ-ET, Hilton, Icom, Bakertilly, Tcell, Zerkalo and others are its members.

    The parties agreed to work together to strengthen further cooperation in the areas of holding investment forums, including the Tajikistan-US Investment Forum, presentation and improvement of the business and investment climate, attracting foreign investment to Tajikistan and other priority areas.
