Meeting with the delegation Saudi Arabia Interparliamentary Friendship Group

On June 28, was held the meeting of the Сhairman of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan Rahimzoda Sulton with the delegation of the Interparliamentary Friendship Group of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulaziz al-Jarbo.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the Committee welcomed the visit of dignitaries to Tajikistan and informed them about the state of economic and investment cooperation between Tajikistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

At the same time, informad on the results of the agreements reached by the delegation of the country with the Minister of Investment of Saudi Arabia Khalid Al-Falih, the First Deputy Minister of Industry and Saudi Resources and the management of the companies "ACWA POWER" and "EXIM BANK" of Saudi Arabia (May 29-30 of this year) and noted that a delegation of Saudi businessmen will visit Tajikistan in the coming days.

Also, during the meeting, the existing investment opportunities of Tajikistan in the priority areas, especially industry, agriculture, energy, tourism, etc., were presented to the guests, the establishment of joint ventures in Tajikistan and the export of agricultural products to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the next meeting of the intergovernmental commission, the agreement on mutual protection of investments, etc. were discussed.
