On March 19, 2025, in the city of Dushanbe, under the leadership of the Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sultan Rahimzoda, and with the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Finance, the Asian Development Bank’s representation in Tajikistan, implementing agencies, and executing agencies of state investment projects, a tripartite review of investment projects funded by the Asian Development Bank in Tajikistan was held.
It should be noted that currently, 19 state investment projects are being implemented in the country with the financial support of the Asian Development Bank, amounting to nearly 1 billion US dollars. These projects cover various sectors, including transport, energy, agriculture, healthcare, education, water supply, irrigation, tourism, ecology, and others.
During the meeting, reports from the heads of implementing and executing agencies of state investment projects funded by the Asian Development Bank were presented, highlighting the progress, achievements, and challenges of the projects. Specific instructions were given to ensure the timely implementation of these projects in accordance with their objectives.
