Business Forum of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan

On April 17, 2024 as part of the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, his excellency Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Republic of Tajikistan, the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management with the cooperation with Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held a business forum of entrepreneurs of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

More than 600 companies from both sides took part in the business forum, including entrepreneurs, heads of government agencies, business associations.

The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, his excellency Usmonzoda Usmonali, drew the attention to the efforts of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on investment climate and provision of legal protection of entrepreneurs of the country. Also, the participants of the forum were informed about the measures being taken in the areas and strengthening cooperation with Uzbekistan.

It was noted that with the tight efforts of the presidents of both countries the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, his exellency Emomali Rahmon and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan his exellency Shavkat Mirziyoyev the countries reached a high level of trade and economic relations in a short time.

In the end in B2B meeting, new documents on cooperation were signed between the parties.
