7th Annual Board Meeting of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank

On October 26, 2022, the Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Governor of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in the Republic of Tajikistan, Qodirzoda Sadi, in the virtual form had taken part and made the speech at the 7th Annual Meeting of the Bank.

In particular, it was noted that the constant strengthening of investment and infrastructure ties and cooperation within the Bank contributes to the sustainable and stable development of member countries.

The Annual Meeting was held with the participation of more than 220 representatives of the Bank's member countries.

It should be noted that the AIIB is one of the country's important partners and within the framework of mutually beneficial cooperation with this international financial organization, continues the implementation of infrastructure projects worth more than 140 million dollars.

It was assured that mutually beneficial cooperation between the AIIB and the Republic of Tajikistan will expand in priority sectors and new initiatives and projects will be activated.

 In conclusion, it was stated that the 8th Annual Meeting of the Bank will be held on September 25-26, 2023 in Sharm El-Sheikh city of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
