Visit of the Tajik delegation to Turkiye to exchange experience in the field of smart cities

With the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and financial assistance from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), on June 16-23, 2022, the delegation of the country, including representatives of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, State Committee on investment and State property Management, State Institution “Formation and Development of Entrepreneurship Tajikistan” and State Unitary Enterprise “Smart City” under the Executive Authority of Dushanbe and IT company “Ilmkhona” visited the  Istanbul and Ankara, Turkiye, to exchange experience in the field of “smart city” and digital technologies.

During the visit, on June 21, 2022 in Ankara, the delegation met with representatives of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change of the Republic of Turkiye and received the necessary information about the achievements,   projects of the smart city system in Turkiye. Also, delegation met with representatives of the Ministry of Industry technology  of the Republic of Turkiye and "Ankara Technopark" for exchanging views on the legislation, activities and projects of technoparks.
