On March 2, 2023, the Ninth Conference on Interregional Cooperation between Tajikistan and Russia was held in Dushanbe with the participation of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Honorable Cairo Rasulzoda and the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Honorable Mishustin Mikhail Vladimirovich.
Before the start of the official part of the event, separate panels were held at the State Institution "National Library" in the sectors of industry, energy and environmental protection, transport and logistics, tourism, education and science, and intercity cooperation.
Later, a bilateral meeting of entrepreneurs from Tajikistan and Russia, “Businessman with a businessman” (B2B) and “Businessman with a representative of authority” (B2G), was held, commercial issues and cooperation between representatives of the private sector of the parties were discussed with the signing of new cooperation documents.
In the afternoon, the main part of the event was opened by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kahir Rasulzoda and the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Vladimirovich Mishustin.
It was noted that this event contributes to the development of opportunities for cooperation between businessmen and investors and the establishment of mutually beneficial economic relations between Tajikistan and Russia.
During the conference, guests and investors were presented with the investment opportunities of the country, the mechanism and legislation of the industry.
