The 17th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan on Economic, Technical and Scientific Cooperation was held in the city of Astana of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

 On April 24, 2023, the seventeenth meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan on Economic, Technical and Scientific Cooperation was held in Astana under the co-chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Usmonzod Usmonali Yunusali and the dismissal of first Deputy  Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sklyar Roman Vasilyevich.

During the meeting, the parties agreed to strengthen cooperation in trade and economic spheres, investments, agriculture, industry, energy, transport, communications and modern technologies, education and science, healthcare, tourism, labor and migration, digital and green economy, environmental protection, sports and the creation of joint industrial enterprises with the involvement of Kazakhstani investors.

  The meeting was held in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding, at the end of which the Protocol of the seventeenth meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan on Economic, Technical and Scientific Cooperation was signed.
