Business forum of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan

On May 3, 2023, in the city of Astana, as part of the state visit of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon to the Republic of Kazakhstan, a business forum of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan was held.

In the above forum, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Sulaimon Ziyozoda and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin made a welcoming speech.

The event was attended by representatives of various structures of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, more than 200 entrepreneurs and investors, as well as representatives of companies and enterprises in various fields of both countries. Within the framework of the Forum, the participants were acquainted with the investment climate and opportunities in the fields of industry, agriculture, construction, tourism, services, logistics, pharmaceuticals and other areas, and also discussed joint cooperation projects.

During the speeches, it was noted that trade and economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan is developing from year to year, and attracting investments, strengthening industrial cooperation and creating joint ventures in the fields of production and services is considered appropriate. Within the framework of the forum, bilateral meetings of entrepreneurs from both countries in the Business to Business (B2B) format and the public and private sectors of both sides were held.

As a result of meetings between the business circles of both countries, more than 30 cooperation documents worth more than 2,6 billion dollars were signed to create joint ventures, industrial cooperation and the service sector.
