Tajik-Malaysian Business Forum

, ensuring regular trade, free movement of goods, capital, services and technologies On May 5, 2023, the State Committee for Investment and State Property Management, together with the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Malaysia and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan, held the Tajik-Malaysian Business Forum.

The Forum was opened by the Chairman of the State Committee for Investment and State Property Management Kodirzoda Sadi Sanginmurod, the Chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia Ms. Christina Tee, the head of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies and the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Jumakhonzoda Jamshed.

The event was attended by more than 100 participants from both sides, including representatives of industry, IT and communication technologies, tourism, medicine and the service sector of the two countries.

The purpose of this forum is to familiarize Malaysian investors with the investment environment and opportunities of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as to establish ties between the business circles of the two countries, including the creation of manufacturing and industrial enterprises through investments in the Republic.

Within the framework of the Forum, participants were introduced to investment opportunities in the fields of industry, food, healthcare and other areas, and joint cooperation projects were also discussed.

It should also be noted that broad trade and economic partnership and investment, support and joint implementation of mutually beneficial projectsremain priority areas of cooperation.

After the end of the official part of the Forum, entrepreneurs of the two countries met at B2B format. As a result were signed new documents on cooperation.
