"Trade and investment opportunities and prospects for cooperation" Forum and International exhibition "Sughd-2023"

On June 23, 2023, in the city of Khujand, Sughd region, on the sidelines of the international exhibition "Sughd-2023", the Forum "Trade and investment opportunities and prospects for cooperation" was held.

This Forum was attended by a wide range of guests, including heads of state bodies, the diplomatic corps, representatives of international organizations in the Republic of Tajikistan and domestic and foreign business and investment circles from the Russian Federation, the Republics of Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, the People's Republic of China, Turkey, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, South Korea and France.

During the speech at the Forum, the Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management Kodirzoda Sadi Sanginmurod noted that the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan annually implements important reforms in various sectors of the economy, including simplification of procedures for registering business entities, protection and support of entrepreneurs and investors, improvement taxation systems, simplification of the verification of economic activities and the permit-licensing system.

Taking into account the noted moments and the continuation of the implementation of reforms, entrepreneurs and investors present at this Forum were invited to contribute to the implementation of investment and commercial projects and show greater interest in the creation of joint ventures.

Also, in the afternoon of June 23, the international exhibition "Sughd-2023" was held in the city of Khujand.

Within the framework of this Forum and Exhibition, a number of bilateral documents on cooperation in various sectors of the economy were signed between domestic and foreign business and investment circles.
