Investment Forum of Tajikistan and Germany

On September 5, 2023, with the participation of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Usmonzoda U.Y. and Executive Director of the Eastern Committee of the German economy Michael Harms, Investment Forum of Tajikistan and Germany was held in Dushanbe city. Heads of ministries and agencies and more than 100 entrepreneurs and investors from both sides took part in the Forum.

The investment forum began with the opening speech of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Usmonzoda U.Y and the Executive Director of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy, Michael Harms.

Usmonzoda U.Y. noticed that the bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Federal Republic of Germany is developing with mutual efforts, holding such events will contribute to the development of trade and economic cooperation, as well as increasing export capacity, attracting investment, importing modern technologies and strengthening bilateral economic cooperation.

During the Forum, the investment opportunities in the fields of industry, energy, tourism, services, agriculture, logistics, transport were introduced to the participants.

At the end of the official part of the Forum, in B2B session, priority investment projects of the country were introduced to Germanies business delegation.
