Economic, Investment and Entrepreneurship Forum of Tajikistan and Iran

   On November 8, the Economic, Investment and Entrepreneurship Forum of Tajikistan and Iran was held in Dushanbe with the participation of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Sayyid Ibrahim Raisi. The high-level event was held within the framework of the official visit of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, it was attended by delegations of the governments of the two countries and a wide range of entrepreneurs of Tajikistan and Iran.

   During his speech, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Dear Emomali Rahmon, called the meeting important for the exchange of views and experience, consideration of existing opportunities and expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

    Emomali Rahmon, expressed confidence that the results of this forum will effectively contribute to the development of bilateral cooperation between the countries in various spheres of economy and trade. It was stressed that the issues of strengthening and expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran are one of the important areas of relations between the two countries.

   Emomali Rahmon, also expressed interesting thoughts about the existing opportunities for the development of a "green" economy, the expansion of entrepreneurial cooperation between the two countries in areas beneficial to the parties of the mining, metallurgical, chemical industries, the production of building materials, light, food, pharmaceutical, agricultural, transport and tourism industries.
