Participation of the Chairman of the Committee at the (virtual) meeting of the Russian-Tajik Business Council

On December 18, 2023 with the participation of Chairman of the Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan Kodirzod Sadi, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Dmitry Volvach and Chairman of the Russian-Tajik Business Council Nazaraliev Islama (virtual) meeting of the Russian-Tajik Business Council was held. The meeting was also attended by the heads of representatives of the private sector of both sides.

During the meeting, representatives of government agencies of the two sides discussed the possibilities of cooperation in various sectors of the economy. Also, the private sector presented specific cooperation projects in energy, information technology and smart city industries.

Kodirzoda noted that within the Business Council more than 400 enterprises with Russian capital are currently successfully operating in Tajikistan. Along with this, there are also unused capacities between the countries and we are ready to work together to finance joint investment projects.

In conclusion, the participants of the Business Council were invited to contribute to the implementation of investment and commercial projects and show interest in creating joint ventures.
