The meeting of the Chairman of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan with Extraordinary Ambassador and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Tajikistan, Mr. Mohammadtaki Sobiri

    On February 28, 2024, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the State Committee for Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, Rahimzoda Sultan, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Tajikistan, Mr. Mohammadtaki Sobiri.

   During the meeting, the current situation and prospects for expanding cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran in the trade and economic sphere were reviewed, including financing of public and private projects, banking cooperation, the creation of joint funds, exchange of experience in the field of technology, and the contribution of Iranian companies to the implementation of priority projects.

   The parties expressed their readiness to strengthen further cooperation in these areas.
