Virtual meeting of the Chairman of the Committee with the Minister of Investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

On April 30, 2024 a virtual meeting was held between the Chairman of the Committee Rahimzoda Sulton Nurmahmadpur with Minister of Investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Farid Al-Khalid.
During the meeting, the bilateral cooperation and attraction of the Saudi companies to Tajikistan, also strengthening trade and investment relations were discussed. The Saudi side expressed its readiness to invest in the country's infrastructure projects, in particular in agriculture, energy and tourism sectors.
The committee chairman expressed satisfaction with the projects currently being invested by Saudi funds in the country and urged as a priority to invest in new projects in the country.

The matters of organization of the Investment and Economic Summit “Countries of Central Asia and the Persian Gulf - G5-GCC”, which is planning to held on May 29, 2024 in Riyaz was also discussed.
At the end, the parties expressed satisfaction with the level of bilateral relations and expressed their readiness for strengthening.
