On November 17, 2024, within the framework of the working visit of the leaders of the ministries and departments of the country with the aim of expanding and strengthening bilateral cooperation of the Republic of Tajikistan with the countries of Southeast Asia, the Chairman of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan Sulton Rahimzoda and Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan Sherali Kabir met with the Crown Prince of Saltanat Negeri-Sembilan Malaysia and Mr. Tunku Ali Rezauddin.
The meeting addressed issues related to the current situation and prospects of expanding cooperation between Tajikistan and Malaysia in the spheres of economy, trade, investment, energy, tourism, agriculture, industry, as well as other issues related to the development of the regions of the two countries.
The sides expressed mutual readiness to develop cooperation and emphasized that trade and investment relations will be further strengthened. It was emphasized the importance of cooperation in the field of information technologies and innovations, including exchange of experience in this area.
In this context, the Tajik side invited Malaysian companies to visit Tajikistan and familiarize themselves with the opportunities for cooperation in these areas.
