On November 18, 2024, within the framework of the working visit of the delegation of the country with the purpose of expansion and strengthening of bilateral cooperation of the Republic of Tajikistan with the countries of South-East Asia, the Chairman of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan Sulton Rahimzoda and Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan Sherali Kabir met with the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, Mr. Yusuf Fadilla.
The meeting discussed a wide range of issues of trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries, as well as practical aspects of interaction in other areas of cooperation and implementation of joint projects.
The parties expressed interest in expanding investment and trade cooperation, creating joint platforms for exports and imports, as well as attracting investments in priority areas of the country, such as energy, industry, agriculture and other infrastructure sectors.
It should be noted that from November 17 to 26, the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan led by the Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management Sulton Rahimzoda, Minister of Industry and New Technologies Sherali Kabir and representatives of other ministries and departments of the Republic of Tajikistan, with the aim of expanding and strengthening bilateral cooperation with the countries of Southeast Asia making business trips to Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand.
