On 6 December 2024 in the building of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management with the participation of representatives of relevant ministries and agencies, ambassadors and private sector from both sides in a virtual format held the second meeting of the Working Group on Investment Cooperation between Tajikistan and Belarus under the leadership of First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management - Farrukh Yusufzod and Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Belarus - Naumovicha Vladimira.
It was noted that the establishment of this co-operation mechanism is effective and its main purpose is to strengthen economic ties of the country and to present the investment environment of Tajikistan to the representatives of state bodies and private sector of the Republic of Belarus. This mechanism will contribute to the creation of structural and organisational basis for regulating relations with the business community, as well as to the discussion and consideration of new opportunities for cooperation, development of joint projects in key sectors, identifying promising areas for business investment.
Within the framework of this meeting the issues of co-operation in economic and investment spheres were presented and discussed, as well as further actions related to strengthening of co-operation were discussed.
According to the programme, investment opportunities in the priority areas of the parties and specific investment projects were presented.
