Meeting of the Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan with the Minister of State for Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates

On April 6, 2025, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Sulton Rahimzoda, and the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, H.E. Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the expansion of bilateral cooperation in the fields of investment, trade, and the implementation of joint projects. Special attention was paid to enhancing collaboration in such areas as industry, energy, transportation, logistics, agriculture, and digital technologies.

Both sides expressed their readiness to strengthen trade and economic relations and attract investment into priority projects in Tajikistan, including through the use of strategic partnership platforms and UAE investment companies. The Chairman of the Committee also invited the Minister of State and Emirati business representatives to participate in the “Dushanbe-Invest 2025” forum, which is scheduled to take place in October this year in Dushanbe.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their joint commitment to strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation.
