Within the framework of the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM), an international investment forum held in Abu Dhabi with the wide participation of government representatives, leading international organizations, and investment communities, Mr. Sulton Rahimzoda, Chairman of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, took part in a high-level ministerial roundtable titled: “A New Globalized World: Creating Capital – Building Wealth.”
In his remarks, the Chairman presented the Government of Tajikistan’s efforts to ensure a favorable investment climate, develop infrastructure, and implement strategic national projects. He also highlighted the broad investment opportunities available in Tajikistan to the international audience.
On the sidelines of the forum, Mr. Rahimzoda also held a working meeting with Ms. Nan Li Collins, representative of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects and priority areas of bilateral cooperation in support of sustainable development, implementation of joint programs, and investment attraction into key sectors of the Tajik economy.
Furthermore, the Chairman invited participants of the roundtable and guests of the forum to attend the “Dushanbe-Invest 2025” forum, which will be held in October this year in the city of Dushanbe.
The meeting was conducted in a constructive and cooperative spirit, and both sides expressed their readiness to further strengthen collaboration.
