Today, in the conference hall of the Shiraz Grand Hotel, within the framework of the 17th session of the Tajikistan-Iran Intergovernmental Joint Commission, the Tajikistan-Iran Investment and Entrepreneurship Forum was held with the participation of representatives from the ministries and agencies of both countries, as well as representatives of the private sectors of Tajikistan and Iran.
At the event, the First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management of Tajikistan, Farrukh Yusupzoda, and the Governor of Fars Province of the Islamic Republic of Iran delivered speeches, presenting reports on the current state and prospects for expanding economic and investment cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran.
In his speech, the First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management outlined Tajikistan’s investment opportunities and noted that the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, under the wise leadership of the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, is consistently implementing necessary reforms to improve the investment climate, develop the private sector, and support entrepreneurship.
The reforms being implemented provide a range of tax and customs incentives, legal guarantees, and sector-specific benefits for entrepreneurs and investors.
In this regard, Iranian entrepreneurs and investors were invited to invest in various sectors of Tajikistan’s economy, take advantage of the available incentives, and contribute to the expansion of bilateral cooperation.
