On June 16, 2025, Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Sulton Rahimzoda, took part in the Forum on Industrial and Investment Cooperation between China and Central Asia.
The forum brought together government officials, business leaders, and experts from across the region to discuss cooperation in key areas such as digital transformation, transport and logistics, the agro-industrial sector, and mining and metallurgy.
In his speech, Mr. Rahimzoda emphasized the importance of expanding investment partnerships, highlighting Tajikistan’s strong economic growth and its potential in green energy, mining and processing industry, transport and logistics, digitalization? agriculture, and tourism.
“Today’s dialogue is a unique opportunity to unlock our joint potential and elevate industrial and investment cooperation to a new level,” the Chairman noted.
China remains one of Tajikistan’s main economic and investment partners. To date, over 700 enterprises with Chinese capital have been registered in the country, with total Chinese investments exceeding $5 billion USD.
The forum served as a platform to build trust, present concrete projects, and shape a new architecture of partnership in Central Asia.
