Press Conference of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management on the Results of Activities for the First Half of 2025

On August 6, 2025, a press conference dedicated to the results of activities for the first half of 2025 was held in the conference hall of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management.

The event was attended by the leadership of the Committee, a representative of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, heads of public investment project implementation units, directors of central departments and divisions, subordinate institutions, and representatives of the media.

At the beginning of the conference, the Chairman of the Committee, Sulton Rahimzoda, delivered a speech highlighting the main achievements of the Committee in the first half of the current year, emphasizing the following key areas:

• Advancement of economic reforms aimed at improving the investment and business climate;
• Attraction of foreign investments and implementation of new investment projects in priority sectors of the economy;
• Effective implementation of public investment projects, particularly in the areas of energy, transport, healthcare, education, agriculture, water supply, housing and utilities, tourism, as well as reforms in the tax and public finance sectors;
• Strengthening the efficient management of state property;
• Raising the legal and financial awareness of entrepreneurs and investors through partnerships with relevant institutions.

In the continuation of the event, the Committee’s leadership provided specific answers to questions from the media, which addressed issues such as foreign direct investment, rational use of state assets, the privatization process, statistics on business establishment and dissolution, and other key activities of the Committee.

In conclusion, Chairman Sulton Rahimzoda expressed gratitude to the media representatives for their ongoing cooperation and contribution to promoting the country's investment opportunities.

He noted that such press conferences play a vital role in ensuring transparency of the Committee’s activities, strengthening public trust in economic reforms, and expanding dialogue between the state and the private sector.
