From August 5 to 20, 2025, the Chairman of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management, Sulton Rahimzoda, held a series of meetings with Ambassadors and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Representatives of the following countries: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – Walid Abdurrahman Al-Reshaidun, United States – Manuel Mikaller, Russian Federation – Semyon Grigoryev, People’s Republic of China – Go Zhijun, Republic of Kazakhstan – Valikhan Turekhanov, Republic of Uzbekistan – Ergash Shoismatov, Japan – Furuto Keiko, Germany – York Shugraf, Republic of Belarus – Viktor Denisenko, Republic of India – Rajesh Uike, Republic of Turkey – Umut Ajar, as well as the Head of the Cooperation Office and Consular Agency of Switzerland Denis Luti Krishan, and Deputy Ambassadors of France – Mathilde Giro, European Union – Isabel Uriz Hernandez, and the United Kingdom – Powell Greenhalk.
During the meetings, the parties discussed issues related to preparations for the International Investment Forum “Dushanbe Invest – 2025”, which will be held on October 14–16, 2025, in Dushanbe under the theme “Green Investment: Opportunities Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow.”
The Chairman of the Committee emphasized that the Forum is one of the key international events, aimed at showcasing “green” investment opportunities in Tajikistan, strengthening economic and trade cooperation with foreign countries, attracting direct investment for infrastructure projects, and promoting industrial development.
The meetings also addressed issues of strengthening economic cooperation, increasing foreign investment, expanding trade relations, and implementing joint projects in priority sectors.
The Ambassadors expressed their readiness for active cooperation in attracting leading companies and investors from their countries to the economy of Tajikistan, and assessed the Forum as an important step in strengthening economic and investment ties and attracting foreign investment.
At the conclusion of the meetings, the parties expressed confidence that further cooperation within the framework of the Forum and beyond will create favorable conditions for implementing new investment projects and developing mutually beneficial partnerships.
