On October 14–15, the International Investment Forum “Dushanbe Invest – 2025” was held in Dushanbe under the theme “Green Investments: Today’s Opportunities for Tomorrow’s Sustainability,” with the participation and keynote speech of the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon.
During the opening ceremony, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon welcomed the participants and emphasized that the main objective of the Forum is to present Tajikistan’s investment resources and opportunities, expand cooperation and innovation, and continue reforms aimed at creating favorable conditions for sustainable development and long-term partnership.
In his address, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon also congratulated all entrepreneurs on the occasion of Entrepreneur’s Day, which is celebrated annually in Tajikistan on October 14.
The opening ceremony of the International Investment Forum “Dushanbe Invest – 2025” also featured speeches by Abdulla Aripov — Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan? Roman Sklyar — First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Tunku Ali Rizauddin ibni Tuanku Muhriz — Crown Prince of Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, Tatiana Molcean — Deputy Secretary-General and Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, Sayyed Ali Madanizadeh — Minister of Economy and Finance of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih — Minister of Investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Forum brought together 1,500 participants from 50 countries, including high-level foreign delegations, heads and representatives of international financial institutions, as well as domestic and foreign business and investment communities.
Within the framework of the Forum, three plenary sessions, twelve panel discussions, and twenty side events were held. Forty-two domestic and international companies presented their products and technologies at the international exhibition.
As a result of the Forum, 52 agreements and other cooperation documents were signed, with a total value exceeding USD 4 billion, covering joint investment projects in various sectors of the national economy.
