On November 6, in Washington, D.C., the Central Asia–United States Business Conference in the C5+1 format was held.
The Republic of Tajikistan was represented at the event by leaders of several ministries and agencies, as well as a group of successful entrepreneurs from the country.
The conference was organized into several thematic sessions. Parties discussed strengthening cooperation in promising sectors and attracting investment to various industries of the economy. The discussions also covered experience sharing in digitalization, the use of artificial intelligence, expanding collaboration in modern technologies, and infrastructure development.
Participants’ attention was particularly drawn to mutually beneficial areas, including leveraging opportunities in the mining, metallurgy, light industry, food, chemical, pharmaceutical sectors, and the production of construction materials in Tajikistan.
It was also emphasized that further expansion of economic and trade cooperation, attraction of direct foreign investments, development of science and technology, and advancement of digitalization processes would be in the interest of all countries participating in this business conference.
