Holding of the Roundtable on Presenting Investment Opportunities of Tajikistan

On 19 November 2025, in Dushanbe, a roundtable dedicated to presenting and discussing the investment opportunities of the Republic of Tajikistan was held at the initiative of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Tajikistan. The event was attended by representatives of government agencies, the business community, and the private sector of Korea.

In his opening remarks, the First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management,  Yusufzoda Farrukh Yusuf, noted that economic relations between Tajikistan and Korea have been expanding year by year, and today a solid foundation for cooperation across various sectors of the economy has been established. The Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, with the aim of improving the investment climate, simplifying permitting procedures, expanding trade and economic partnerships, and attracting modern technologies into economic sectors, is implementing a set of additional measures and institutional reforms.

Additionally, the Committee’s representatives delivered a detailed presentation on the investment potential of the Republic of Tajikistan, including investment legislation, legal guarantees, the mechanism of investment agreements, public-private partnership, as well as priority and most beneficial areas for investment.
