The meeting was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Council – the Chairman of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management, members of the Council including the Ministers of Justice, Finance, Economic Development and Trade, chairpersons of the state committees on land management and geodesy, architecture and construction, the Deputy Director of the State Institution “PPP Project Implementation Center,” the Head of the Communications Service, the Deputy Chairman of Sughd Region, as well as the Mayors of Istaravshan and Buston.

During the meeting, issues related to the further development of the public-private partnership mechanism, improvement of the legal and regulatory framework, and the attraction of increased private investment into the national economy were discussed.

Four new public-private partnership projects were presented and comprehensively reviewed, and relevant decisions regarding their implementation were adopted.

The projects are planned for implementation in priority social and infrastructure sectors, including healthcare, education, communications, and culture. The total investment volume exceeds 82.5 million somoni and will be fully financed by the private sector. The projects are expected to contribute to improving service quality and developing social infrastructure.

The public-private partnership mechanism is one of the priority areas of the state’s economic policy and, through mutually beneficial cooperation between the government and the private sector, contributes to infrastructure development, improvement of the investment climate, and enhancement of the country’s economic competitiveness.
