Opening of the cardboard box manufacturing enterprise “Kogazi Tojik” in Bobojon Gafurov District.

On March 29, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, launched the production process at a cardboard box manufacturing enterprise in the Kansoy settlement of Bobojon Gafurov district.

This facility represents the second phase of the limited liability company “Kuttii Tojik” and was built by a group of entrepreneurs as part of efforts to accelerate the country’s industrialization.

The new phase has made it possible to increase production capacity, expand the range of products, and create new jobs.

The design capacity of the first phase was processing 5 tons of raw materials and producing 8,000 boxes per day. The new technological lines of the second phase, with the processing of 10 tons of raw materials, have increased production volumes to more than 20,000 units per day.

Thus, the combined capacity of both phases has reached the processing of 15 tons of raw materials and the production of about 30,000 cardboard boxes daily.

The number of employees has increased from 80 to 130. Products are manufactured in various shapes and sizes according to customer orders, taking into account their design preferences and fully complying with quality standards. Domestic resources account for 70% of raw materials, while imported materials make up 30%.

To date, the “Kuttii Tojik” enterprise has signed contracts with more than 20 domestic companies, and demand for this type of product continues to grow. The completion of eight processing stages ensures that the products meet both national and international standards.

During a tour of the production process, President Emomali Rahmon was informed that, after meeting domestic market needs, the enterprise also exports its products abroad.

In 2025, the enterprise exported products worth more than 2.2 million somoni. This figure increased due to the operation of both the first and second phases of the “Kogazi Tojik” enterprise, which has also given a new boost to trade turnover.

The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, highly praised the implementation of such projects as an effective factor in strengthening the national economy and developing other sectors, instructing responsible officials to increase production volumes.
