On April 8, the Chairman of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sulton Rahimzoda, held a meeting with representatives of the Asian Development Bank.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to expanding cooperation, attracting investment, and implementing joint projects in priority sectors. In particular, special attention was paid to opportunities for improving agricultural sector management, ensuring food security, environmental protection, and the sustainable use of natural resources.
The parties also exchanged views on the socio-economic development of mountainous regions, improvement of local infrastructure, and enhancement of the population’s living standards. It was noted that the implementation of joint projects in these areas could contribute to strengthening the country’s economic potential and achieving sustainable development.
At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed their readiness to further develop mutually beneficial cooperation and implement joint initiatives.
