On April 14, 2026, a public consultation on the “FINGROW Tajikistan: Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Support Development Project” was held at the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, within the framework of cooperation with the World Bank.
The main objective of the event was to review and refine the framework documents related to environmental and social commitments, including the management of environmental and social risks and impacts, the stakeholder engagement plan, as well as procedures for regulating labor relations within the project.
In this context, participants discussed issues related to the assessment of the current situation and enhancing the effectiveness of environmental and social management systems within the project.
The public consultation was actively attended by representatives of ministries and government agencies, development partners, financial institutions, and other stakeholders, who provided constructive feedback and recommendations on the presented documents.
During the event, it was emphasized that the effective implementation of the project will contribute to fostering a conducive business environment, improving access to finance, strengthening private sector capacity, and ultimately supporting the sustainable economic development of the country.
