Signing ceremony of Investment Agreement for the Establishment of a Textile Cluster

On 15 July 2026, the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and Industrial Development Center LLC signed an Investment Agreement on the implementation of the Textile Cluster Development Project in the Republic of Tajikistan.

The project envisages attracting USD 83.2 million in investment and aims to establish a fully integrated textile production chain, covering the entire process from cotton cultivation and processing to the production of yarn, fabrics, and finished garments.

The project is expected to create more than 5,500 new jobs for the local population.

The implementation of the project will contribute to the development of Tajikistan's textile and light industry, enhance the country's export capacity, attract foreign direct investment, promote the efficient use of locally sourced raw materials, and support the country's sustainable socio-economic development.
