Today, the Pamir Invest 2026 International Investment Forum was held in Khorugh, the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, at the initiative of the Executive Authority of State Power of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region and the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The Forum brought together senior officials and representatives of ministries and government agencies, the diplomatic corps, development partners, business communities, and investors.
An exhibition of domestically produced goods and products was also organized as part of the Forum.
The Forum showcased the investment opportunities of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region in hydropower, industry, mining and mineral processing, agriculture, tourism, infrastructure, and the green economy.
It was emphasized that the region’s abundant natural resources, considerable renewable energy potential, favourable geographical location, and extensive tourism opportunities provide a solid foundation for implementing effective investment projects, establishing joint ventures, and creating new jobs.
A total of 57 cooperation agreements and documents amounting to 6.58 billion somoni were signed as part of the Pamir Invest 2026 International Investment Forum.
