      Press Conference Held on First-Half 2026 Performance Results

      On July 28, 2026, a press conference summarizing the results of activities for the first half of 2026 was held in the meeting hall of the State Committee for Investments and State Property Management.

      The event was attended by the Committee's leadership, a representative of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, heads of centers implementing state investment projects, heads of departments and divisions of the central office and subordinate institutions, as well as a wide range of media representatives.

      At the start of the meeting, Committee Chairman Sulton Rahimzoda presented a detailed report, in presentation format, on the main results of the State Committee for Investments and State Property Management's activities during the first half of 2026.

      During the press conference, the Committee's leadership provided comprehensive answers to numerous questions from journalists. The topics discussed covered a wide range of issues related to the country's socio-economic situation, including:

      • the results of efforts to attract foreign direct and domestic investment into the country's economy, as well as measures to improve the investment climate;
      • the progress of state investment project implementation across the republic's regions and the effectiveness of allocated funds' use;
      • measures of state support for entrepreneurship, including the simplification of administrative procedures and the creation of favorable conditions for private-sector development;
      • state property management, oversight of the efficient use of state assets, and the privatization process for state enterprises;
      • international cooperation in the field of investment, including outcomes from participation in high-level forums and negotiations with foreign partners;
      • the Committee's plans and priority areas of activity for the second half of 2026.

      At the conclusion of the meeting, Committee Chairman Sulton Rahimzoda thanked media representatives and emphasized the Committee's readiness for continued cooperation with the media and for providing timely, reliable information about the agency's activities.
