Today, a meeting was held at the State Committee for Investments and State Property Management, chaired by Committee Chairman Sulton Rahimzoda together with Ko Sakamoto, ADB Country Director in the Republic of Tajikistan, to conduct a comprehensive review of state investment projects implemented in Tajikistan with financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Asian Development Bank, relevant ministries and agencies, as well as heads of centers responsible for implementing state investment projects, who reviewed the projects' implementation results for the first half of 2026.
During the meeting, reports were presented on the current status of implementation of each project, including the level of disbursement of allocated funds, achievement of established performance indicators, adherence to the work schedule, and the effectiveness of financial and technical resource utilization. At the same time, participants discussed challenges and obstacles encountered during implementation, including issues of coordination among responsible bodies, ensuring timely documentation, and addressing existing delays.
At the conclusion of the meeting, specific instructions and directives were issued to the responsible bodies aimed at accelerating project implementation, strengthening inter-agency coordination, and improving the efficiency of investment fund utilization.
