Meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Tajikistan

On 29 October 2026, Sulton Rahimzoda, Chairman of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, met with Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Shamrani, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Tajikistan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to expand trade and economic cooperation, including attracting direct investment for priority projects, organizing joint investment forums and events, and establishing direct ties between the business communities of the two countries.

In this context, the parties highlighted the important role of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Economic, Trade, Investment, Technical and Cultural Cooperation, as well as the Business Council of the two countries. They emphasized the need to make effective use of these mechanisms to expand business ties and implement joint projects.
