The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Speaker of the Supreme Assembly, Mayor of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali took part in the inauguration ceremony of a secondary educational institution in Dushanbe.
The school will accommodate 2,200 children in two shifts, and will conduct classes in Russian. All 45 subject-specific classrooms are provided with the necessary equipment and teaching aids and fitted with the latest equipment.
This was followed by an opening ceremony of a modern nine-story administrative building of the executive body of state authority of Sino district.
The building has 61 offices with state-of-the-art equipment that will contribute to ensuring more efficient and productive activities of employees.
The administrative building also features two conference halls with 360 and 130 seats respectively, and a number of other ancillary rooms.
President Rahmon and Speaker Rustam Emomali also attended the opening ceremony of the first stage of non-state educational institution Horizon.
The four story building of the school accommodates 384 students from first to fourth grades. The classes are conducted in English.
Highly-qualified and dedicated local and foreign teachers will be teaching at the school.
Over the next two years, with the implementation of the second phase, the number of students will reach 1,280 people. After the completion of both stages, the school will begin enrolling students through 11th grade.
Next, they attended the opening ceremony of a new building of the Agency of Meteorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, which was followed by the opening ceremony of Siyoma Mall.
The six-story building of the agency is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, and enables continuous data collection by generating accurate real-time precipitation information and warnings, as well as daily weather forecasts.
There are 54 state meteorological networks, 96 water flow metering station, and 21 air quality measurement stations in Tajikistan.
Auxiliary meteorological maps of the METEOSAT-8 satellite, and the European Satellite Center, will also be used to make overnight forecasts.
In the structure of the Agency for Meteorology, the activity of an important sector is aimed at studying and discovering the nature of glaciers. This center is the first structure in the country that directly coordinates the training, monitoring, and coordination of government agencies in the field of snow and ice.
Siyoma Mall was built by Avesto Group in honor of the 30th anniversary of independence and within the framework of the Period of Rural Development, Tourism and Folk Crafts.
The total area of Siyoma Mall covers over 3.5 hectares, and includes within it 86 retail service points, halls, and entertainment centers, which will create 700 new jobs.
