Participation of the First Deputy Chairman at the 16th Intergovernmental Commission of Tajikistan and Iran

On December 26 2023, the 16th meeting of the Intergovernmental commission of Tajikistan and Iran on trade, economic, technical, scientific and cultural cooperation was held in Dushanbe.

 At the meeting, the parties agreed to strengthen cooperation in trade and economic spheres, investments, agriculture, industry, energy, transport, communications and modern technologies, education and science, healthcare, tourism and the creation of joint industrial enterprises with the involvement of Iranian investments in the country.

 Also, the parties discussed the holding of the investment forum of Tajikistan and Iran which is scheduled for 2024 in the city of Tehran, and strengthening cooperation between the joint committee on investments and the implementation of mutual projects.

 The meeting was held in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding. The protocol of the 16th Intergovernmental commission of Tajikistan and Iran on trade, economic, technical, scientific and cultural cooperation will be signed on December 28, 2023.
