Meeting with the representatives of the Asian Development Bank

On August 12, under the leadership of the Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan Sulton Rahimzoda and the participation of the heads of the ministries of finance, energy and water resources, agriculture, committees for environmental protection, emergency situations and civil defense, tourism developmentand the Agency for land reclamation and irrigation, was held a meeting with the Deputy of Director General for Central and West Asia Department of the Asian Development Bank Ms. Xiaohong Yang and accompanying her staff.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the new regional program of the Green Climate Fund "From Glaciers to Farms", the process of implementing the Climate Change Strategy for Central and West Asia, supporting priority projects taking into the account of climate change for Tajikistan, conducting research on glacier assessment, determining climate priorities in the new Cooperation Strategy of the Asian Development Bank for the Republic of Tajikistan and other issues of cooperation.
