On April 7, 2021, within the framework of the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Peter Szijjarto to Tajikistan, the Tajik-Hungarian Investment Forum was organized by the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The forum was attended by over 50 representatives of various sectors economy, including heads of government agencies, state enterprises and organizations, as well as investors of the two countries.
During the investment forum, the participants were presented with presentation on the business and investment climate in the Republic of Tajikistan. Particular attention was paid to investment opportunities in tourism, industry, agriculture, food, pharmaceutical and other field.
Representatives of Hungary expressed interest in establishing and expanding partnerships with their Tajik counterparts.
At the end of the official part of the Forum, a bilateral meeting of entrepreneurs of the two countries in th B2B format took place, in which representatives of the private sector of the Republic of Tajikistan held a free and fruitful conversation with their Hungarian counterparts.
