Business Forum of Entrepreneurs of Tajikistan and Belarus

Business Forum of Entrepreneurs of Tajikistan and Belarus was held on May 15, 2018 in National Library of Tajikistan with the participation of entrepreneurs from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Uzbekistan. The Forum was held during official visit of the President of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Tajikistan and was organized by the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management.
   
The purpose of this event is to establish mutually beneficial economic cooperation between entrepreneurs of Tajikistan and Belarus as well asopening  of joint ventures in free economic zones for further export of goods to the countries of Central Asia and Afghanistan.


Business forum started with opening speech of the Chairman of State Committee on Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan Farrukh Hamralizoda and followed by the speeches of representatives of two countries: Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan, co-chairmans of the intergovernmental committee Izatullo Sattori and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus Leonid Zayats, Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulahovich, representative of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Tajikistan and Director of the State Unitary Enterprise "Tojinvest" Javohirlal Muzafari.

The parties presented investment opportunities of Tajikistan and Belarus, andraised issues of entrepreneurship development between representatives of private sector.



The business forum further continued in the format of the Panel sessions on topics "Production potential of Tajikistan and Belarus: common ground" and "Opportunities for agricultural development of the two countries as a source of environmentally friendly products".


More than 10 joint agreements were signed during the event.
