763 Meeting of the Chairman of the State Investment Committee
with the Head of Mission of the Asian Development Bank
The meeting was held between the Chairman of the State Committee on Investments, Mr. Hamralizoda Farrukh Mahmud and the Minister of Energy and Water Resources, Mr. Usmonzoda Usmonali Yunusali with the Head of the Asian Development Bank Mission, Mr. Yuki Ina in the small conference hall of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management on January 24 of this year.
During the meeting the parties discussed the restructuring of the Open Joint Stock Company “Barki Tojik”.The Chairman of the Investment Committee, Mr. Farrukh Hamralizoda emphasized that the energy sector is one of the important sectors of the economy of the Republic of Tajikistan and the restructuring of the Open Joint-Stock Holding Company “Barki Tojik” is one of the main parts of the country's energy reform, the goal of which is the competitiveness of an environmentally friendly product- electricity.
The Head of the Asian Development Bank’s Mission, Mr. Yuki Ina stated that together with development partners, the Republic of Tajikistan will contribute to the implementation of reforms in the energy sector.
