Tripartite Asian Development Bank Portfolio Review for the third quarter of 2023

   On October 26, 2023, in Dushanbe, under the leadership of the Chairman of the State Committee for Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, a review of investment projects financed by the Asian Development Bank in the Republic of Tajikistan in the third quarter of 2023 took place.

   The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Asian Development Bank, the Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Finance, as well as executive and implementing groups and centers of state investment projects.

   It was noted that currently, 15 state investment projects with overall budget $922.8 million. These projects are implementing in the spheres of transport, energy, healthcare, education, water supply, irrigation, ecology and others.

The heads of the implementing units and centers of the projects made a report on the progress of the projects. Government representatives discussed in detail the existing problems in the projects, and gave specific task and instructions for solving them with the aim of timely implementation of above-mentioned projects.
