      Participation of the Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management at the conference on regional cooperation and integration, on the development of critical minerals for the transition to clean energy

      On October 15, 2024 in Hanoi, Vietnam The Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Sulton Rahimzoda, had a speech at the opening ceremony of the Regional Cooperation and Integration Conference on Critical Minerals for the Transition to Clean Energy.

      During his speech, he emphasized the priorities of the Central Asian countries on the path to sustainable development, as well as the key role of renewable energy sources, especially hydropower, in achieving the goals of reducing emissions and decarbonizing the economy. The important role in supporting regional energy projects was emphasized, which will allow the Central Asian countries to accelerate the transition to sustainable energy and reduce CO2 emissions.

      In conclusion he noted that the transition to sustainable development and clean energy in Central Asia requires active action, an influx of investment and strengthening of regional cooperation.
