On November 14, 2024, the International Forum entitled “Women in Business” was held at the “Hayat Regency” Hotel by the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management together with the Private Sector Development Union of Tajikistan, with the participation of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Dilrabo Mansuri, the leadership of ministries and departments, development partners, associations, banks and women entrepreneurs.
The Forum started with an opening speech by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, followed by speeches by the leadership of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management, the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic. Tajikistan, the Committee on Women and Family Affairs under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and a representative of the U.S. Agency for International Development in Tajikistan (USAID).
It was noted that with the direct support and special attention of the Founder of National Peace and Unity, the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, a number of effective reforms have been implemented in various spheres of the economy, which directly benefit businesswomen in order to promote and develop entrepreneurial activity throughout the country.
Thanks to the support of the Government of the Republic, the share of women's activities in various spheres of the country's economy is increasing, and targeted measures are being taken to support small and medium-sized businesses of women entrepreneurs.

The Forum was attended by more than 150 people, including women entrepreneurs from the Republic of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
After the official part of the Forum, the work of the event continued in three panel discussions on “The Role of the State in the Development of Women's Entrepreneurship”, “Women's Contribution to the Development of Production and Services” and “Opportunities and Technical Possibilities of Supporting Women in Entrepreneurship” to the point that they will hold similar business events regularly.
