On August 8 of this year, within the framework of the 19th session of the Tajikistan–Kazakhstan Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sulton Rahimzoda, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Alibek Kuantyrov.
The meeting discussed the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral investment cooperation, including the implementation of joint projects in priority sectors of the economy.
The parties also addressed ways to improve the investment climate, strengthen the legal framework for cooperation, and expand direct contacts between the business communities of the two countries.
It was emphasized that both sides are committed to continuing constructive cooperation and firmly support the implementation of the agreements reached, aimed at strengthening economic partnership.
The Chairman of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management also invited the Kazakh side to actively participate in the International Investment Forum “Dushanbe Invest – 2025,” scheduled for October 14–16 this year in Dushanbe.
The Kazakh side confirmed its readiness to take part in the event at a high level, noting that such forums serve as an important platform for presenting investment opportunities and expanding trade and economic relations between the two countries.
