Forum titled “Women’s Entrepreneurship: New Opportunities and Prospects” dedicated to the celebration of the International Women Entrepreneurs Day

On 19 November 2025, the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management hosted a forum titled “Women’s Entrepreneurship: New Opportunities and Prospects,” dedicated to the celebration of the International Women Entrepreneurs Day, with the participation of representatives of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, ministries and agencies, development partners, banks, business associations, and active women entrepreneurs of the country.

It was noted that the Government of the country, with the direct support and special attention of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Emomali Rahmon, has implemented a number of effective reforms in various sectors of the economy, which directly contribute to supporting women entrepreneurs in the advancement and development of their business activities throughout the country.

The purpose of this forum is to raise awareness among women in the country about the processes of entrepreneurial activity, present financial opportunities, introduce new reforms in this area, expand financial support for women entrepreneurs, and discuss the challenges and obstacles faced in the development of women’s entrepreneurship.

After the official part of the event, several successful women entrepreneurs of the country were awarded Certificates of Honor of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management.
